Final Expense Commission Tracking Software
A commission spreadsheet that lives apart from the policy record always drifts out of sync. policydaddy computes and records commission from the same carrier/product/tier/age-band data that drives the policy lifecycle.
How it works
The rate tree
Carriers → carrier products → product tiers → age-band rates form a lookup tree so commission on a sale can be computed from face amount, applicant age, carrier, product and your contract tier — not looked up by hand in a PDF rate card.
Commission tied to the policy lifecycle
`commission_events` link directly to `policy_milestones` (application → submitted → paid → first-year → renewal), so a commission record always traces back to a specific policy stage instead of a disconnected ledger line.
Built to reconcile, not just record
Because the rate tree, the policy record and the commission events share one schema, an agency can trace "what should this pay" against "what was recorded" without exporting to a separate reconciliation sheet.
Does this replace a carrier statement import?
It's designed to work alongside statement review — the commission events give you the expected side of the reconciliation against imported carrier statements.
Can I model my own contract tiers?
Yes, contract tiers and age-band rates are configurable per carrier and product in the carriers settings area.
Is commission tracking included in the free tier?
Contacts, policies and analytics for one person are included free; commission tracking depth and team features are part of Pro.
